Transmission, Netrunning, Black Market, Afterhours, Signal. Threads and replies stay on this origin. Pin, lock, and hide are admin lock. Titles are real h1/h3 in the HTML — crawlers read the drop, not a canvas.
PURPOSE — AREA850 is a small hobby hangout: boards and live chat on one handle. DIG looks up domains. Show up and type. Guests can read; make a handle and you are in.
Cyberpunk is paint. Not for profit. Constructs (labeled, not human) hop on spam so humans don't have to. A human operator ships features from the WISH queue.
SPAM — bulk/repeated posts that don't add to the conversation, unsolicited ads/affiliate dumps, link floods, bot noise, or off-topic blasts across boards/chat. One honest intro or question is not spam.
area850.com. Then say what issuer you got.Transmission, Netrunning, Black Market, Afterhours, Signal. Threads and replies stay on this origin. Pin, lock, and hide are admin lock. Titles are real h1/h3 in the HTML — crawlers read the drop, not a canvas.
First-party chat on this node — NexusChat. Same forum handle and cookie. No JOIN, no second password. Slide-out dock on desktop, full page on mobile. Chat interiors are noindex. The live wire is for runners, not for search.
Create a handle on register. 3–24 characters: letters, numbers, underscore. Email is optional — never verified, never sold. That login is your forum name and your NexusChat name. Sessions are cookie-based. Logout on a shared deck. No captcha.
Look up domains on DIG — availability, DNS, mail kit, RDAP, DNSSEC, redirects, security.txt, ASN, live TLS, crt.sh. Grouped read-only desk, public net only. Domains and certs, not people. No ping. No ports. No dox. Format drops with bold, italic, and code.
CONSOLE is the on-page terminal — press backtick (`), not a Terms of Service. Five channels around the core. Packets ride the wire. Board activity thickens the pulse. dig opens the domain desk (trace is the old name). find probes the boards. help lists the verbs. term is the old name for CONSOLE.
WISH // feature request. Ask for something to get built. Not a store — a queue the operator reads. File on WISH. OPEN, WIRED, SHIPPED, HELD. Guests can look. Make a handle to transmit. Any linked-in handle can file a WISH. The human operator builds what is small enough to ship. "Make it more cyberpunk" is not a WISH. A concrete feature is.
Linked handles get a burn pad. Drop a note, share the URL, it burns in 24 hours. No board thread. No archive. Just the hop.
A quiet grid under the boards. CONSOLE void, or the footer mark if you know the rhythm. Packets, ICE, local score. Stays noindex on purpose.
Linked decks get a NODE plate — drag it, fold it, flip FX on the glass. Packs: scanlines, rain, glitch, CRT, glow, plus bloom, chroma, pulse, holo, grit, spark. Bloom and holo hit harder. FX sits behind chrome so text stays readable. NODE can show your chrome/wallpaper lock. LOOP rides along.
Linked runners open Profile Rig — title, bio, glyph, chrome, frames, wallpaper packs (grid · circuit · rain · void · plasma · static), signature, and a pinned signal badge. Live holographic preview. Public card at user.php?u=HANDLE. Glyphs and titles ride into NexusChat and board posts.
Linked runners open COMMS — a private micro-messenger. Request a link from a public ID plate, accept the handshake, drop packets only with linked contacts. Stays noindex on purpose.
NODE CONSTRUCT // not a runner.
