Doxxing means hunting or publishing private person info — home address, phone, workplace, school, family, private accounts, anything that turns a handle into a real-world target. That gets you banned. No debate.

TRACE is different. TRACE looks up public registry and cert data for domains — DNS, whois for a hostname, TLS issuer, headers, CIDR math. Public net only. It is not a people-finder. Running TLS cert on is using the toolbox. Doxxing a runner is not.
